Fellow commanders
Everyone knows that the fastest way to trade is find a one jump route with the station's on each side as close to the star as possible to minimise supercruise time..right?
WRONG!
What I discovered last night is that in a wing of three active traders on the same one jump route, is that you can use the wing beacon warp / drop out so everyone can instantly arrive at the station at both ends, regardless of how far the station's are from the star.
The following may sound complicated but is really quite simple:
Commanders A,B and C are running a one jump trade route between systems 1 and 2
To begin commanders A and B are in system 1, commander C In system 2.
All traders at this stage are full cargo ready to jump.
Commander C activates wing beacon, then A jumps to C.
B activates beacon the C jumps to B.
meanwhile commander A lines self up to letter box and activates beacon
C jumps to A.
Now by force of coincidence by the time everyone has completed trades it's in perfect sequence to jump again in a chain. The only wait time is A waiting for B and C to jump around 30 seconds.
