Power play releases today/tonight at 3:30 BST, servers are going down for 6.5 hours I think it stated. Sucks for some of you guys, perfect timing for me though lol.

Well the PowerPlay is supposed to add a metagame, involving the different people in politics of the different Governments etc.. You can do things, to support or harm those factions, and thus effect the territories etc. of the galaxy.
However, im finding the whole affair rather hard to understand & follow. I'm also not really seeing anything that I feel adds to " my" gameplay. Just more grinding of things I already do, but with even less payout. I pledged to Hudson under the Feds, but im going to unpledged and forget about the whole thing honestly.

i dunno who to pledge to, im doin mainly trading, and i dont really know what benefit any of the powers give.

To be honest I don't really know either. I do know there is a weekly credit payout, that's dependant upon your rank in that power. And there are some power specific modules for ships, but that's all I really know.
BukkWild and myself went Hudson under the Feds, cause we both had high standing with them.

So since yall have had some hands on time with powerplay how is it? Does it add anything to the game as a whole?
